Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers PRIDE
(56) DEFEATED  Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers MIGHTY (36)

Game MVP:
Leanna Hosking sponsored by GO LawnCare (PRIDE)

Although PRIDE have started slow this year with 2 losses
they have proven themselves they are still in the running for this year’s crown as they have defeated MIGHTY by 20 points in last night’s TIGERS vs TIGERS clash. Danielle Osborne once again was incredible in the defence circle and with Rhegan Fary in the mix it was very difficult for MIGHTY shooters to score. Improving shooter Jade Kennedy and Kourtney Joseph started the game with snippets of great play however it was the shooting combination of Leanna Hosking sponsored by GO Lawncare and Kourtney that was unstoppable. Again Coach Amanda Black found it hard choosing game MVP tossing up between last week’s MVP Leanna Hosking sponsored by GO Lawncare and Tarin Moke sponsored by Goodman Chartered Accountants with her 2nd week in a row dominating the WA position however with the constancy of great play throughout the game had Leanna tip Tarin once again for coaches MVP.

Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers
MIGHTY
(29) DEFEATED by Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers PRIDE (50)

Game MVP:
Maddie Struwe (MIGHTY)

Mighty took on the Pride and played a good defensive game holding some of the play down the court. With Jacinta Preece heading to
the other end of the court and taking on the GK bib doing a great job getting some of the lobs that Pride popped in to the circle and some excellent deflection of other passes . Karrell & Sara kept up our defensive end with quite a few deflections and turnovers through most of the game. With the move by Pride to put in 2 moving shooters, this changed our game plan. With double defending in the circle on Ebony Francis, Natasha Arnold had to move a lot quicker to get under the post and she put up some great shots with some pin point accuracy feeds from Alex Holland to both the shooters. Unfortunately we
didn’t convert as many opportunities in to goals as we could have. Maddie Struwe work down the court was awesome, both in the defence and attack ends and was named Players Choice this week. Her fitness and ability to get on the player and fight for the ball in all areas of the court was amazing and most deserved of the MVP this week.

Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers ROAR
(37) DEFEATED Leps 2 (19)

Game MVP:
Karina Gray

With their 5th win under their belt Tigers ROAR defeated Leps 2 convincingly. Without sharp shooter Emily Coote ROAR knew that this would be a challenge, however Sussanah Pedro sponsored by Nathan Jawai stepped into the Shooting role with no problems at all, out jumping the opposition with great offensive rebounds and feeding ever so nicely to her GA Kirsty Holder who was outstanding with her 90% shooting. The defensive end were outstanding as the previous 4 weeks with Jeda Nash sponsored by Redlynch Lodge, shutting down Leps sharp shooter Melva May with help from Karina Gray who was the rebounding machine last night and had no turnovers winning herself coaches MVP.

Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers STRIPES
DEFEATED BY Leps 5

Game MVP:
Sabine Creed

After a great training session the previous night, tigers stripes were excited to take some new skills onto the court! A great performance from all, with spacing on the court was greatly improved! Unfortunately a few rogue passes let us down. Sabina had an excellent defensive game, with an ankle roll late in the 2nd quarter, she went back on and got multiple intercepts.

Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers FURY
(44) DEFEATED BY Leps 4 (50)

Game MVP:
Sandra Ponticello

Fury started the first quarter slow which means Fury had to play catch
up all game, ball control and passing let them down and missing sharp shooter Tasha Sagigi sponsored by Nathan Jawai had great affect as well. The team is working well together considering there have been a few changes in the team. The ladies are slowing starting to gel together and with a few more training sessions Fury shall grow in strength and as individuals. Deleece Bowen had a great game considering it was her first game with Team Fury.

Mystyle Homes North Cairns Tigers ALIVE
(17) DEFEATED BY Aces (31)

Game MVP:
Maddie Copetti
